Summary

The Manitoba Metis Federation released these 10 historical vignettes to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Manitoba becoming a province in the Canadian Confederation. Each video highlights the Metis perspective of the politics and leadership that lead to Manitoba becoming the fifth province of Canada, with the underlying argument that Louis Riel was the founder of the province and the first premier of the province.
